Transition Instructions

Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

My diabetic dog has been incredibly hard to manage. She is such a picky eater and without consistent meals it is impossible to maintain her glucose levels. I started this food paired with the can version and WOW she eats it. This ended a nearly year long struggle. We are both happy.

After multiple attempts at finding a dog food my street dog from PR would eat (turns out he's a mini schnauzer, chihuahua, mini poodle, lab, pekingese, rottweiler mix) this was the clear, consistent winner. Sometimes I'll mix it with a scrambled egg in the morning and plain chicken at night. He's one very healthy boy. The vet over the past year since he's had it has given him a very clean bill of health.

I was skeptical when my vet recommended this. My dog is 11 years old and slowing down. She had started getting liquid stools and I was afraid this was the end. Trying to extend her life as long as possible, I purchased this in the hopes that it would help. WOW! She LOVES her food and is getting spunky again running around and playing with her toys! I purchased the canned food and treats too! Yes, it's more expensive, but I'm a true believer. The change in her is amazing!

My veterinarian prescribed this dogfood for my greyhound and it has helped his digestive system - his stools have firmed up as the food contains a healthy amount of fiber. Prior to using this food, he had loose stools and seemed uncomfortable. He is much better now.
Our Pippi has diabetes and digestive problems

I had bought a different brand of hills science diet that was for weight management our Pippi really like that but we needed something for her diabetes one day when I went to order pippi's food I seen this food there and I was so excited so we ordered it we did order the 27 and 1/2 lb bag $100 is a bit much but when it comes to our Pippi she's worth it we've had it for 2 weeks now she seems to really like it and we just noticed now that it is someone maintaining her levels but our little Pippi our Yorkie she really loves to eat so for the amount that we give her she seems it's not enough so my review of this dog food in the last two weeks is over a five. My girl was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago and it was recommended I switch to this food. Unfortunately, my girl did not like and it did not seem to work well with her stomach. She became sick after eating and with diabetes, it's detrimental she eat. Gave it a try, but will be switching back to Purina Pro plan.

Our lab had constant, unbelievable diarrhea for weeks on end. Finally the 3rd Vet we saw recommended this food. The different was amazing. When I think she is 'better' and go back to her old food it starts again. She likes it too!
